We’re working on a few big projects in our video department, you’ll be excited to see them! Be on the lookout for the release of these promotional videos by keeping up with our social media and new blog posts.
Rush Hour Karting is an all-indoor, high-speed karting facility. This indoor karting track is not like those family fun park & Putt-Putt karting tracks. The track spans 1/3 mile and is full of hair pin curves, high speed straights, and winding turns—their European-designed karts go almost 40 MPH!
Some notes from Shane, our videographer:
This was a three day shoot, and it was extremely hot for the duration (imagine a warehouse, 106 degrees). It was fun working with such a friendly staff, we shot all footage hand-held (no tripods or rigging) for a sense of urgency and to lend to the fast feel of the environment.
Founders Alfred and Wallace Thompson opened the doors of TT&E in 1975 to create an honest scrap metal recycling facility. Ronnie and Scott Thompson bought the business from their fathers and acquired adjacent acreage in 2007, expanding the family business into a 60 acre site in Garner, NC.
Notes from Shane:
To make this video stand out we enlisted Billy to help us build a 20×12 ft. scrap backdrop. Everything that you see on screen can be recycled at TT&E. Alfred and Wallace were full of jokes and stories, I’ll be shooting them this week in some exterior B-roll.
